I'm Shelly, a freelance editor and publishing pro who's passionate about great stories and interesting writing.

If you're here, then you're probably looking for some help with an editing job. Not only can I help you with making your project perfect, I can also provide my unique perspective as a former literary agency intern, a professional reviewer, and a librarian.

I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a double major in English and Media Studies where I graduated with High Distinction from one of the world's top universities. I also earned a Master of Information (MI) with a specialty in Library & Information Sciences.

As an editor, I believe that all writers have a great story to tell, they just may need some guidance on how to get there. My unique approach focuses on understanding a manuscript's message and helping the author refine their words; it is never about injecting my own style or tone into a piece.
